Delhi skipper played the match-winning knock against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) to redeem his team’s ugly defeat against the same opponent earlier this year. Iyer remained calm throughout the chase and stitched an important 92-run partnership with Shikhar Dhawan to Delhi closer to the target. His unbeaten 58 runs off 49 balls took DC over the line by five wickets. He will be looking forward to continuing the momentum against Rajasthan Royals (RR) as well.
