With two back to back wins, RCB will be looking to continue their winning run and keep their narrow chances of making it to the playoffs alive. RCB would take a lot of confidence from their victory in the last game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) which they registered despite heroics from MS Dhoni in a nail-biting match.

KXIP, on the other hand, has been facing some losses in their recent games as they lost the last game against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Apart from KL Rahul and Chris Gayle, most of their batsmen are failing to deliver and that’s a worrying sign for the Punjab-based franchise who are at the fifth position in the points table

RCB have made a comeback by winning back-to-back games and are expected to take the field with the winning combination which helped them to win the game against CSK. Parthiv is not going anywhere now, but we can expect to see Moeen Ali move back to his number four position.

Probable XI: Parthiv Patel (wk), AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli (c), Moeen Ali,  Akshdeep Nath, Marcus Stoinis, Pawan Negi, Navdeep Saini Dale Steyn, Umesh Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal.

However, in the Punjab squad, some changes are expected as it will depend on the fitness of Mujeeb ur Rahman and Moises Henriques. both of them got injured in the last game and KXIP will be willing to get them fit as soon as possible. There chances that Nicholas Pooran and Andrew Tye will make a comeback.

Possible XI: Chris Gayle, Lokesh Rahul (wk), Mayank Agarwal, Mandeep Singh, David Miller, Sam Curran/ Nicholas Pooran, Ravichandran Ashwin (c), Mohammed Shami, Murugan Ashwin, Hardus Viljoen/ Andrew Tye, Harpreet Brar.
