We’re here with Match 50 on the cards as the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 50th match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at home. It’s a clash between the top two teams of the table who have already booked their playoff berth.

Both the teams have 16 points but the visitors are perched at the top on account of a better run-rate. In the teams’ clash earlier this season, CSK won by 6 wickets at Feroz Shah Kotla. Talking of their previous encounter, Delhi won against RCB by 16 runs while CSK suffered a 46-run loss to Mumbai at home.

CSK have always put a lot of faith in him and he duly repaid that with a 53-ball 96 against SRH last week. Prior to that, his form wasn’t something that was worth a mention. With the league stages drawing to a close and the playoffs coming up, Watson’s coming into form surely means signs of danger for the opposition. He is a big match player and all teams in the tournament are pretty much wary of the threat he possesses.
