Last season’s runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be locking horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad for the 8th match of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The irony is that both the teams have lost their respective season openers that too by a narrow margin.

This game can also be a battle between Steve Smith and David Warner

While SRH faced defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Kolkata, the game in which for most of the time, SRH were the favorites. However, Rajasthan was defeated by KXIP (KXIP) at home, the game which will be known for the Mankading incident between R Ashwin and Jos Butler.

On Friday, both the teams will be looking forward to winning their first game of the season with SRH having home advantage.

Let us take you’ll to the Probable Fantasy XI you can create with the following tips:-

Wicket-Keepers

buttler
Jos Buttler

There is no doubt regarding the fact that if Ashwin hadn’t Mankaded Buttler in the last game, RR would’ve won the match comfortably. Hence, he becomes the obvious choice for the wicket-keeping option and apart from him the other option is Jonny Bairstow, who played a decent knock in the last game, but if Kane Williamson comes back chances of him finding a spot in the XI seems difficult.

Batsmen

warner
David Warner came back with a bang

With David Warner coming back to the form and Ajinkya Rahane showing some glimpses of his attacking play in the last game, they both become the obvious choices for the Fantasy cricket. The Hyderabad pitch is also expected to be helping the bowlers more hence, a technical batsman will be more successful on such tracks hence, Manish Pandey fits the bill, who did a decent job in the last game despite the fact that he got to play just a few deliveries. Apart from them, other options are Kane Williamson (if available), Steve Smith, Sanju Samson, and Rahul Tripathi.

All-rounders

srh
Vijay Shankar

After the respective last games of both the teams, one has to agree with the fact that both teams don’t have a plethora of all-rounders, but they have some quality ones. Hence, Ben Stokes, Vijay Shankar, and Krishnappa Gowtham become the obvious choice for the Fantasy XI. However, the only good option apart from them is Shakib Al Hasan who can also be effective on the Hyderabad track.

Bowlers

srh
Rashid Khan.

In their respective last games, RR and SRH did decent bowling barring a few bad overs, hence, the effective bowlers of that game seem to have made the cut and they are, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Jofra Archer, and Dhawal Kulkarni. Apart from them, there are some good options like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, and who had an off-day in the last game.
