Since 2013, Mumbai Indians have created a set pattern in the points table. They have finished on top-4 of the points table every alternate year. 2013, 2015, 2017 and if that continues, they would finish on top-4 in 2019 as well. But that’s just a coincidence. However, the Mumbai-based franchise has what it takes to secure the top spot once again.

However, in this season they have done a decent job so far as currently, they are standing at the third position with 4 wins under their belt. The 3-time IPL champions missed a playoff berth last year and that was only the 4th such incident in IPL history. Over the years, they have been one of the strongest franchises. For a number of seasons, they have retained the core that has done wonders for them and that will be the key for them in this season as well.
