With the end of the first week of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), it’s still difficult to guess which team is the clear favorite in this season. However, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is once again leading the charts with three wins already under their belt. On the batting front, David Warner is leading the table with 254 runs in 3 innings at a strike rate of 175, while on the front, surprisingly, the veteran leg-spinner, Imran Tahir is donning the purple cap as he has scalped 6 wickets and maintained an economy of 5.2 in first 3 games.

Ravindra Jadeja takes a brilliant catch

During the chase on the second ball of the innings itself, Deepak Chahar dismissed the RR skipper, Ajinkya Rahane. Chahar bowled a length bowl outside off which was shaping away and Rahane follows the swing with just his bat without getting to the pitch and the ball hit high on the bat and went aerially towards backward point, where Ravindra Jadeja put a dive forward, full length and took a brilliant catch. Third-umpire confirms that the catch was clean as it even proven by Raina when he kissed Jadeja after the catch.

Here is the video of the dismissal:
