This will be the first season for the English batsman, who went unsold in the auction of IPL 2018. SRH picked him as the backup batting option in case David Warner doesn’t turn to play for them in this season. Meanwhile, the Aussie batsman will miss the first few games of this season and Bairstow is expected to fill his boots in those matches at top of the order.

The hard-hitting batsman believes in going after the bowlers with the first ball. This ability of him revived his limited-overs career in the last two years. In the ODIs, he pushed Alex Hales out of the team to make his place at top of the order with Jason Roy. Now, England bank on him as the most trusted opener in the limited-overs team.

Thus, Bairstow is a great prospect for Sunrisers Hyderabad, who will be keen to insert him in the playing XI as an opener. It will be interesting to see whether he can dispossess Warner as well from the top of the order or not. If he can, then, definitely, Bairstow will become the X factor in SRH’s squad.
