IPL 2020: Hardik Pandya Has Been Missing His Angels In UAE

The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise,  Mumbai Indians all-rounder Hardik Pandya arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday for the upcoming edition of the tournament, but he has already been missing his “two angels” – his partner Natasa Stankovic and their new-born son. On Monday, Pandya uploaded a screenshot on Instagram of him having a video call with his family.

In the photo, a smiling Natasa is accompanied by her and Pandya’s son, who can be seen sleeping peacefully. Hardik can also be seen sporting his usual gold chain, is seen all smiles on his end in the long-distance family photo.

Captioning the picture with his angels, Hardik wrote: “Missing my 2 angels” and added, “Blessed to have you both in my life.” Natasa Stankovic responded to the picture with an adorable comment. “We love you and miss you,” she wrote, along with a hug emoji. KL Rahul, a close friend of Hardik Pandya, was one of the first to comment on the picture. Along with a heart emoji, he wrote: “Angel”.

Hardik Pandya’s sister-in-law Pankhuri Sharma and former Indian fast bowler, Munaf Patel both reacted with heart emojis. Pandya also tweeted the picture, and one of his closest friends and Indian teammate, Dinesh Karthik responded to it on the microblogging site. “Cayuteeeeeee,” he wrote while retweeting Pandya’s image. Natasa Stankovic gave birth to their son on July 30.

While announcing the arrival of their baby boy, Hardik had said, “We are blessed with our baby boy.” The couple had announced their engagement in January this year.

The all-rounder, who has missed a fair chunk of cricket since the 2019 World Cup due to injuries, has been working hard to while preparing for the IPL, which will see India’s cricket stars in action for the first time since the tour of New Zealand in February.

The cash-rich league is scheduled to commence on September 19, with defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will be locking horns with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the tournament opener.
