In match 16 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will be played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday. The Delhi Capitals has so far been good with the bat and ball with most of the players in the playing 11 has been contributing well but it all came to a sudden halt as it faced defeat in its previous match.
After suffering a defeat against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH), Delhi Capitals would be cautious and look to keep the wickets rather than throwing them early. Dinesh Karthik and co have done well in registering back to back victories and they would look to keep the winning momentum.

KKR still has to reap the benefits of Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Eoin Morgan who can single-handedly turn the game in the team’s favor, but the trio has done work in bits and pieces. However, Shivam Mavi, Shubman Gill, and Kamlesh Nagarkoti have impressed in the last two matches.
Delhi Capitals (DC)
The fitness of R Ashwin remains the one big question mark still but with increased participation in the practice sessions, he could make a comeback in this game. Amit Mishra could be hard done by this having bowled fairly well (8 overs for 58 runs and a couple of wickets) in the interim period. But Ashwin’s inclusions could prove favorable against match-ups with three left-handers in KKR’s top five.

A change to a winning combination is unlikely from KKR, and there haven’t been any declared injury concerns. Three frontline spinners in Sharjah might be overkill but it provides Dinesh Karthik with plenty of options to choose from, and keep batsmen guessing.
