Mumbai Indians (MI) will be aiming to reach the numero uno position again when they will be locking horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Rohit Sharma’s team will be high on confidence after managing to defend a total of 200 on a flat wicket in Sharjah against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). RR on the other hand has not managed to get success outside of Sharjah, losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the first double-header of IPL 2020.
After their two magnificent wins against CSKand KXIP, RR has suffered demoralizing losses against KKR and RCB in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. MI has been performing at their dominant best in the recent games
Mumbai Indians seem to be peaking at the right time after an inconsistent start to their IPL 2020 campaign when they lost their opening game to Chennai Super Kings. Although they bounced made a strong comeback against KKR, they suffered a loss against RCB in a super over but since then, the four-time IPL champions have notched up wins against KXIP and SRH.

Mumbai Indians (MI)
Everyone is in form and even as details on Nathan Coulter-Nile’s availability are awaited, they wouldn’t be fretting too much. An unchanged XI is expected.
Probable XI: Rohit Sharma (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, James Pattinson, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah
Rajasthan Royals (RR)
Ben Stokes won’t be available to join the squad as he is serving quarantine. The form of Robin Uthappa has been worrisome and with MI unlikely to play an off-break bowler, the Royals’ management might decided to play Yashasvi Jaiswal. With pacers doing well in Abu Dhabi, there is also a chance for Royals to opt for an express pacer in the form of Oshane Thomas or Varun Aaron
Probable XI: Jos Buttler (wk), Yashasvi Jaiswal/Robin Uthappa, Sanju Samson, Steve Smith (c), Riyan Parag. Mahipal Lomror, Tom Curran, Rahul Tewatia, Jofra Archer, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat/Varun Aaron
