IPL 2020: Match 22 (SRH vs KXIP) – Probable Playing XI

In the 22nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be locking horns with Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday. Both will definitely be eyeing for a win as they have four points each in five matches they have played so far.

Punjab will be seeking to break the three-match losing streak as they suffered losses against Rajasthan Royals (RR), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). While Sunrisers lost their first two games of the season against RCB and KKR, they bounced back and won two matches in a row, beating Delhi and Chennai. However, SRH suffered a loss in the third game against Mumbai.

KXIP’s strength has been in a formidable opening duo. Skipper KL Rahul has been in scintillating form this year, scoring two fifties and a century, while Mayank Agarwal also has a half-century and a ton to his credit. On the other hand, Sunrisers, who are blessed with a strong top-order comprising Jonny Bairstow, David Warner, Manish Pandey, and Kane Williamson, will look to exploit a low-on-confidence KXIP’s bowling unit.

SRH will be There can be a temptation to include Billy Stanlake or a Jason Holder in the XI but that would again push them back to square one. Leaving out Kane Williamson is probably a chance SRH wouldn’t want to take again. It remains to be seen if Khaleel is drafted into the XI immediately or Kaul gets another outing.
