In the 26th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals  (RR) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Although SRH has been inconsistent, they have managed tin win three games out of the six games they have played so far. On the other hand, RR has been struggling on multiple fronts as they have lost four out of six matches.

For SRH, David Warner’s leadership is the reason behind their success as he is also the highest run-scorer for the franchise, but his opening partner, Jonny Bairstow lacks inconsistency. Uncapped Priyam Garg had played a match-winning knock of unbeaten 51 against Chennai Super Kings. In the bowling department, Rashid Khan has led from the front with eight scalps.

RR has lacked contributions and barring Rahul Tewatia, and despite having started their campaign with brilliant fifties, Sanju Samson and Steve Smith have failed to maintain the consistency. Rajasthan would hope that their star all-rounder Ben Stokes is available for selection. He has completed the six-day quarantine period but since he has been away from the game for over two months, he might miss one more match. He is yet to practice in UAE.

SRH has no reason to make a lot of changes in their playing XI as they had won their last game against KXIP. David Warner will be expected to retain the XI from the previous game.

Probable XI: David Warner (C), Jonny Bairstow (WK), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma, Abdul Samad, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan, Khaleel Ahmed

If RR team management manages to find Ben Stokes fit to play, he will be expected to come in place of Andrew Tye. If the surface is on the slower side, a return to the XI for Jaydev Unadkat cannot be ruled out as he can be more effective than Varun Aaron with his cutters.

Probable XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler (WK), Steve Smith (C), Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, Mahipal Lomror, Rahul Tewatia, Jofra Archer, Shreyas Gopal, Kartik Tyagi, Varun Aaron/Jaydev Unadkat
