In the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has the Delhi Capitals (DC) will be locking horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday. For SRH, it’ll be a do-or-die game as a loss here will virtually eliminate them from the race of the playoffs. Despite having won some of the games on their brilliance in the middle phase of the tournament, SRH is yet to come out with their best performance in this season which will be expected against DC.
David Warner will be expected to come out all guns blazing followed by Manish Pandey and Jonny Bairstow giving some apt support. SRH will have to play out of their skin in order to register a win against Delhi as unlike Sunrisers, DC needs just one win for qualification. However, they don’t have momentum on their side after suffering two consecutive losses. Apart from Shikhar Dhawan, none of the DC batsmen have failed to perform on a consistent basis.

However, DC’s bowling attack has been the talk of the town, with the overseas pace duo of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje having scalped 37 wickets between them in IPL 2020. The spin tandem of Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel has also been doing well. However, Shreyas Iyer’s side will fancy their chances of a win, especially given that SRH’s famed top order hasn’t really fired in this IPL.
As the two sides prepare for a thrilling encounter, here’s a look at three key player battles to keep an eye on.
#1. Rashid Khan vs Shreyas Iyer
Despite having the burden of leading, Shreyas Iyer has had a hot and cool season so far for DC as they have suffered losses in two consecutive matches. SRH has, in Rashid Khan, the man with the best wicket haul in IPL 2020 so far and the clash between these two on Tuesday would be quite the face-off.

Iyer is amongst the top run-scorers in the ongoing edition, having scored 370 runs in ten matches at a strike rate of 127.58. He has been ensuring a quick start for SRH and he is yet to hit the heights of his capability.
