In the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has the Delhi Capitals (DC) will be locking horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday. Under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, DC will be eyeing to seal their spot in the IPL 2020 playoff birth with a win over SRH in DC.

In their recent games, Delhi has suffered two back to back losses to KKR and KXIP and if DC manages to win on Tuesday, they will be on the top of the table with 16 points. While Sunrisers are there with eight points in 11 matches they have played and their chances of qualifying for the playoffs are still bleak.

The last time when they met, SRH had beaten DC by 15 runs on the back of some fine performances from David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson, and Rashid Khan. In their head-to-head record, the Sunrisers have an upper-hand with a 10-6 margin. While SRH will be searching for a similar outcome to keep their playoff hopes alive, DC will be seeking to avenge their loss and consolidate their position in the points table.

There is a case for SRH to strengthen their lower order if they decided to included Abhishek Sharma or even hand a debut to Virat Singh in place of Abdul Samad. Vijay Shankar’s form has been giving them some luxury.
