In the 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 the Delhi Capitals (DC) will be locking horns with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Monday. It will be a do or die scenario for both teams as despite having an impressive start to the ongoing edition of the, DC have tapered off and have lost their last four matches.
Now the scenario is clear for DC as a win will propel them to the second position in the standings while a loss could see them depending on the results from other matches as their Net Run Rate has also fallen in the last two matches. Picking their best team is of utmost importance for DC. On the other hand, Despite holding 2nd place on the points table, three consecutive losses have left RCB battered and bruised.

However, Bangalore needs to forget the losses and pull up their socks for the penultimate league match. In order to qualify for the playoffs, RCB will be settling nothing less than a win in their final league game with Virat Kohli likely to make a change at the top of the order to ensure their victory against DC.
Delhi Capitals (DC)
Despite having some bad games, the Capitals can’t afford to experiment any more in a critical game. However, they will be looking to bring back the experienced Axar Patel to replace Pravin Dubey. It seems that there are a lot of questions with no easy answers for Delhi Capitals.
Probable XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Harshal Patel, Kagiso Rabada, Pravin Dubey/Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Anrich Nortje
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
A troubled middle order will be the biggest cause of concern for RCB’s think-tank. In order to strengthen their position, RCB might consider bringing back Moeen Ali, but who will he replace that’ll be the question. They will also be having the option of having another look at Shivam Dube.
Probable XI: Devdutt Padikkal, Josh Philippe, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Washington Sundar, Gurkeerat Singh/Shivam Dube, Chris Morris, Isuru Udana/Moeen Ali, Mohammad Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini
