The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the upcoming edition of 2021 has started in Chennai and it will be engrossing to see how each of the teams finally shapes up. Here is what the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is up to in the auctions.

#1 Glenn Maxwell – ₹14.25 Crores
Glenn Maxwell becomes one of the costliest players in the action of the 14th edition of the IPL as he was bought by the franchise for as many as ₹14.25 Crores. In the last season, he played 13 matches for the Punjab Kings in which he amassed just 108 runs and scalped three wickets as well.
#2 Sachin Baby – ₹20 lakhs
The Indian batsman, Sachin Baby was bought back by RCB in the auction as they bought him for just ₹20 lakhs. He be will be happy to rejoin the franchise.
#3 Rajat Patidar – ₹20 lakhs
Rajit Patodar was bought by the franchise for his base price of ₹20 lakhs.
#4 Mohammed Azharuddeen – ₹20 lakhs
Kerala’s Mohammed Azharuddeen was bought by the RCBfor just ₹20 lakhs. He played some flamboyant knock during the 2020-21 edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for his state team.
#4 Kyle Jamieson – ₹15 Crores
Kyle Jamieson attracted bids from RCB and Delhi take the bid up to ₹1 Crore. Punjab entered with a bid of ₹7.75 Crore. RCB rises the paddle for a ₹13 Crores bid. Scratch that. ₹14 Crore bid… Rs. 15 Crore bid… RCB gets its man for Rs.15 Crore. He will play a crucial role for the franchise.
#5 Suyash Prabhudessai – ₹20 Lakhs
Suyash Prabhudessai was bought by RCB for his bas ₹20 Lakhs.
#6 KS Bharat – ₹20 Lakhs
RCB got the services of K.S. Bharat for an opening bid of ₹20 Lakhs.
