In the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be locking horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday. SRH is standing reeling at the bottom of the table with just a couple of points in the kitty. While their middle-order concerns have cost them a game or two, SRH’s bowling attack has also been failing more often than not. Although the likes of Kane Williamson and Jonny Bairstow have played their part to perfection, David Warner’s form in IPL 2021 hasn’t been helping their cause.
The injuries to Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan have only made things worse for the Sunrisers. With Manish Pandey and Khaleel Ahmed showing signs of improvement, SRH has managed to salvage some pride. Their opponents, the Rajasthan Royals, have won just two out of their six games and despite Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer being ruled out, the Royals have had some decent outings. With Jos Buttler and Chris Morris also looking in good form, RR will fancy the chances of winning the game against SRH.

While the Royals have a comparatively young squad, they can be termed favorites for the game, given the depth and balance of their squad. But their bowling attack will have to deal with SRH’s fearsome top-order, with David Warner being the man to watch out for on Sunday. Overall, both teams will be eyeing a win, with the IPL 2021 points table slowly taking shape with each passing game.
#3 Sanju Samson vs Khaleel Ahmed
It has been the same old story for Sanju Samson again as in IPL 2021 he has been struggling to be consistent. Against KKR though, he came up with a mature knock of 42 not out and took his team over the line. With an unsettled opening combination, he could be in early again against MI.

The left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed has suddenly become hugely significant with Bhuvneshwar and Natarajan’s injuries. After finishing with impressive figures of 3 for 21 in the win over Punjab Kings (PBKS), Khaleel conceded a lot of runs against DC. He will have to raise his game against RR. It will be tough against Samson at the top though, who has displayed supreme form so far.
#2 Jonny Bairstow vs Chetan Sakariya
Jonny Bairstow has been doing well in IPL 2021 as he played impressive knocks of 55, 43, 63 not out, and 38. Most times he has come out to bat, Bairstow has looked in fine touch. If anything, they would want bigger scores from him. Pacer Chetan Sakariya has been exceptional for RR as every time the wicket has had something in it for him, the bowler has been destructive. He is very accurate with his line and lengths. Bairstow is someone who can get frustrated while facing a bowler like Sakariya.
#1 Kane Williamson vs Chris Morris
SRH batsman Kane Williamson played a brilliant knock in the last game against DC. His knock did not deserve to end in a loss, but sadly did. Looking at the innings on a standalone basis though, it was an excellent performance that would give both the batsman and the team confidence.

Williamson vs Chris Morris could be the battle to watch out for. Chris Morris has done well with the ball in the absence of Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes. Morris has taken five wickets in the first three games, but he does possess the ability to claim key wickets.
