A win here might take CSK to the top of the table while RCB who started off brilliantly has been going down in the spiral path as a win or a loss will not have any effect on their rankings. Let us look at 3 player battles to watch out for in the RCB vs CSK game in IPL 2021.

#1 Mohammad Siraj vs Ruturaj Gaikwad

Mohammad Siraj has been very impressive so far for the RCB in this season. He has often bowled with the new ball and has kept asking questions to the batsmen with his outswingers. He can also bring it back into the right-hander and he will be eager to get some early breakthroughs for RCB.

Siraj’s main threat will be while bowling against Ruturaj Gaikwad who looked solid in the first game against Mumbai Indians. Gaikwad’s unbeaten 88 made sure CSK put up a decent total on the board and ended up winning the match by a comfortable margin of 20 runs. This will be one of the interesting battles between Siraj and Gaikwad.

#2 Kyle Jamieson vs Suresh Raina

Kyle Jamieson failed to do much in the game against the KKR, however, he was superb in the first phase of IPL 2021 and he will be looking to replicate a similar performance n the remaining games of the UAE phase. Suresh Raina did not look good in the first match against Mumbai Indians as the bowlers came hard at him with the back of teh length deliveries. Jamieson will fancy his chances against Raina, given that he has the extra bounce and can hit the short stuff at a decent pace.

#3 Deepak Chahar vs Virat Kohli

Deepak Chahar was in terrific form against MI and MS Dhoni used him very wisely by allowing him to blow his three overs upfront. He is among one of the best swing bowlers in India at the moment and he is also in the reserves for the T20 Worldcup. However, good form in UAE might just propel his case and he will have a tough time against Virat Kohli.

Kohli is one of the best in the business and he has teh ability if destroying any bowling attack without taking risks. He plays those exquisite drives on the offside but can also be vulnerable on the off-stump line at times. He will have to battle out against the likes of Deepak Chahar who is pretty good at bowling accurate outswingers.
