IPL 2021 – With nothing to lose Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) go against the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the second game of a day. The journey has been complete rollercoaster for Mumbai Indians who at once looked to qualify for the playoffs but the second leg has changed their fortunes and now they are almost out of the tournament with one game to go.
While on the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad who has missed the services of David Warner has completely at the backfoot. From batting to bowling, everything went wrong for Sunrisers Hyderabad except few individuals players performances like Rashid Khan or Jason Roy. Ahead of the clash, Let’s take a look at the three players battle to watch out from SRH vs MI game.
Kane Williamson vs Trent Boult
When Sunrisers Hyderabad handed the captaincy to Kane Williamson, it looked they are in safe hands who has performed expectational for New Zealand in the last few years. But with Sunrisers Hyderabad the problem was they are missing out on who could perform for the team at every point. The middle-order doesn’t have the pinch hitters for Sunrisers Hyderabad and even the opening pair look absurd. Kane Williamson is looking to end things on the better side in the last game of the season when he has been unable to do anything with the bat.

Kane Williamson is looking to end things on the better side in the last game of the season when he has been unable to do anything with the bat. Trent Boult, the left fast bowler from Mumbai Indians has the ability to beat any batsman with his pace and swing. But all are missing in the current season and the franchise would expect to end the tournament with a great spell against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rashid Khan vs Rohit Sharma
The tournament has been good for Rashid Khan who has taken 16 wickets in 13 matches so far except for the franchise who performed poorly throughout the season. With one game to go, Rashid Khan would like to end the tournament with 5 wickets spells or with some big hits from his bat.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of Mumbai Indians and the five-time champions has a poor season except for his average batting. Rohit Sharma has scored more than 350 runs in the tournament but couldn’t take his side to the playoffs’ one more time. It will be interesting to see how he gets going in the last match.
Jasprit Bumrah vs Jason Roy
Jasprit Bumrah remains one of the best bowlers for Mumbai Indians and in the season he has impressed with his bowling at occasions and taken 19 wickets in 13 matches so far. But due to lack of support, he couldn’t take his side to playoffs’ this time around. In the absence of David Warner, Sunrisers Hyderabad has tried the opening batting with Jason Roy and he has played some knocks in the tournament against quality sides. It will be interesting if he would like to play one more innings like that in a match against Mumbai Indians to finally end their hopes of going to the playoffs’.
