This time Gayle failed to judge the pace of the ball well and went for an expensive drive. Gayle could not detect the pace of the ball properly and Ravindra Jadeja took a brilliant dive on the right side at the backward point and caught the catch. Gayle was dismissed for 10 runs off 10 balls. The Caribbean opener hit 2 fours in his short innings.

#4 Ravi Bishnoi vs RCB
Punjab Kings Ravi Bishnoi took pulled off another incredible catch in IPL 2021 but this time it was against RCB. Punjab Kings smashed 179-5 against RCB batting first and but the latter lost the game after losing 7 wickets at 96. In the 19th over of Mohammad Shami, Harshal Patel smashed a shot towards long-off. Ravi Bishnoi ran from long-off and took a dive to take the catch.

Manish Pandey was batting well in the middle after scoring his half-century. He was looking set to send bowlers in all corners of the ground and had started striking the ball well in the death overs. His partner David Warner from the other end was finding it hard to score freely, which put Pandey in the pressure of tightening the screw. Hence, he decided to go after Lungi Ngidi.
Pandey stroked him through covers for a fine boundary before playing an even better shot. The bail was sailing over the long-on boundary for a maximum until Du Plessis came in the middle with his acrobatic effort. Everyone was shocked that the ball didn’t go for a six.
Du Plessis was patrolling the long-on boundary and kept his eyes on the ball and ran towards it. He timed his jump to perfection and took an amazing catch to dismiss Pandey for 61.
