Wicket-keeper – Dinesh Karthik

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) wicket-keeper, Dinesh Karthik has been by far the best finisher in the season. He played multiple match-winning knocks for RCB. Despite batting down the order, Karthik amassed 330 runs in 16 innings and maintained a strike rate of more than 180 in the season.

Spinners

Ravichandra Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal

The off-spin all-rounder, R Ashwin continued his excellent run with the bowl. However, he surprised one and all with his batting as in this season, Ashwin amassed runs at a strike rate of 146. He played a couple of quickfire innings for RR. His teammate, Yuzvendra Chahal has possibly been the best bowler of IPL 2022 and is the undisputed purple cap holder with more than 26 wickets at the moment.

Fast Bowlers

Harshal Patel, Mohsin Khan, and Jasprit Bumrah

RCB pacer, Harshal Patel has managed to keep the batter guessing with some unplayable variations. It was a successful run in the second consecutive season for Patel as he scalped 19 wickets in 15 matches. LSG seamer, Mohsin Khan has been one of the finds of the season as he has impressed everyone with the pace and movement that he managed to produce.

However, Mohsin Khan did not feature in the first half of IPL 2022 for LSG and he still managed to scalp 14 wickets in 9 games and maintained an economy of less than 6. The season was not up to the mark for the premier Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, but he maintained the economy of just above 7 and despite being an average season, he managed to scalp 15 wickets in 14 games.
