While the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are currently taking on Punjab Kings in the ongoing IPL 2022, their team management met with an accident just ahead of the game. LSG are the newest addition this season and the team is led by Indian vice-captain KL Rahul. While Andy Flower has taken the role of the head coach, former Kolata Knight Riders (KKR) player, Gautam Gambhir has joined them as a mentor of the team.
Meanwhile, KL Rahul, Marcus Stoinis and Ravi Bishnoi were the three draft picks by them picked for 17, 9 and 4 crores as well. However, LSG is placed at No. 4 in the points table. The KL Rahul-led side have managed to win 5 matches so far this season in 8 matches. The team has showcased some new match-winners like Ayush Badoni, Avesh Khan and Marcus Stoinis.

On the other hand, according to serval media reports, The car following the team bus of Lucknow Super Giants suddenly met with a road accident. The incident took place while the team when they were trying to reach for today’s match against the Punjab Kings.
Here’s the statement of the franchise: Lucknow Super Giants’ CEO Raghu Iyer, his associate Rachita Berry and Gaurav Arora, Manager for Gautam Gambhir were involved in a minor road accident en route to the venue for tonight’s game. Fortunately, all three are safe and well.

LSG, however, has officially confirmed the same through their official Twitter handle. While the CEO of Raghu Iyer, Rachita Berry and Gaurav Arora were the ones met with the accident, luckily there are no threats as all of them are safe and sound as well.
