Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be locking horns with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 12th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. SRH is currently placed at the bottom of the points table of this season of the IPL whereas LSG is standing at the fifth spot on the points table. SRH has played one game this season where they failed to win that game.
On the other hand, LSG played a couple of games this season where they managed to win one game. In their opening game against Rajasthan Royals (RR), SRH suffered a loss of 61 runs. Aiden Markram and Washington Sundar smashed 57 runs and 40 runs respectively for Sunrisers Hyderabad in that game.

On the other hand, LSG played their last game against Chennai Super Kings where they won the game by 6 wickets. Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis scored 61 runs and 55 runs respectively for Lucknow Super Giants in that game. Both the teams have a good number of exciting players and this promises to be a terrific contest between these two sides.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
SRH are one of the luckiest teams when it comes to player availability as all of their first-choice players are available from the first game. Though they are missing Sean Abbott in the squad who is currently playing in Pakistan for the white ball series and Glenn Phillips who has just joined with the team, they both are nowhere near their first choice playing 11 and it shouldn’t be a concern for them.
Probable XI: Kane Williamson, Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran, Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, Romario Shepherd, Washington Sundar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik/Kartik Tyagi
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)
Marcus Stoinis is still unavailable. He will be a huge miss for LSG because the firepower he brings to their middle order will be immense. KL Rahul has had a very bad start by his standards in IPL 022 and will be hoping to come good in their 3rd game of the season. After a destructive knock that Evin Lewis played, it becomes impossible to drop him, and will be interesting to see how LSG manages this situation once Marcus Stoinis becomes available.
