Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 13th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. RR is currently leading the points table of this season of the IPL whereas Royal Challengers Bangalore is currently placed in seventh place on the points table.
Rajasthan Royals played two matches in this season of the Tata IPL where they won both of those matches while Royal Challengers Bangalore also played two matches in this season where they managed to win one game. Rajasthan Royals played their last game against Mumbai Indians where they won the game by 23 runs. Jos Buttler smashed a century for Rajasthan Royals in that game.

On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore played their last match against Kolkata Knight Riders where they won the game by 3 wickets. Sherfane Rutherford had amassed 28 runs while Wanindu Hasaranga scalped 4 wickets for RCB in that game. These two teams played 22 matches against each other in the history of the IPL where Rajasthan Royals managed to win 10 matches while Royal Challengers Bangalore won the remaining games.
#1 Virat Kohli vs Ravichandran Ashwin
Virat Kohli was off to a breezy start against the Punjab Kings and KKR and has traditionally done a decent job against Rajasthan, as he has amassed 579 runs at an average of 30.47. He has also dominated Ravichandran Ashwin as he batted with an average of 162 against the right-arm spinner. Ashwin has dismissed the former RCB captain just once in 20 innings and will be keen to get the better of the batter at Wankhede.
#2 Mohammed Siraj vs Jos Buttler
After a bruising century against Mumbai, Jos Buttler will be facing the threat of RCB pacer, Mohammed Siraj and extend his purple patch. The RCB bowler has been guilty of straying down the leg side too often in the last couple of games and the Englishman will punish the balls that are in his arc. Siraj has scalped three wickets so far this season at an economy rate of 8.48, his most expensive since 2020.
#3 Wanindu Hasaranga vs Sanju Samson
RR skipper Sanju Samson vs RCB’s trump card Wanindu Hasranga will make for an interesting middle-overs battle. The Sri Lankan spinner has had dismissed Kerala batter four times in T20 cricket. It was also improved performance by the spinner in the game against KKR where he picked up four wickets. Samson has been amongst the runs as well with scores of 55 and 30. This will be a clash between Hasaranga’s guile and Samson’s solid technique and hard-hitting ability.
