Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, have been splendid throughout the tournament and they are coming off four win in their last four games. The KL Rahul-led side has excelled in all three departments and each of the personnel in the squad has been putting up their hands. They are likely to go in with the same playing XI after a dominating victory in the last game.

Both LSG and GT have played 2 matches each at this venue and have won them. In the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders, LSG’s batters had a great outing as they managed to pile up over 170 runs. In the second innings, the bowlers didn’t allow KKR batters to settle in and helped the team win by a huge margin of 75 runs.

Rashid Khan has dismissed KL Rahul three times, with the batter having a strike rate of only 76.64 against the legspinner. GT might look to use an over of his in the powerplay to negate the Rahul threat. De Kock has a strike rate of 161.50 against Shami but he has also been dismissed thrice by the pacer.

Probable XI: Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Hardik Pandya (c), Sai Sudharsan, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Pradeep Sangwan/Yash Dayal, Alzarri Joseph, Lockie Ferguson, Mohammed Shami.

After his player of the match effort against Punjab Kings, Krunal Pandya has hardly bowled in LSG’s last couple of matches. If he does get to bowl in this game, LSG might look to use him early in the innings considering the presence of southpaws in the GT middle order. Meanwhile, Avesh Khan could be a good option against Shubman Gill, as he has conceded jusr 25 runs off the 28 balls he has bowled to the opener while he has also dismissed him twice.

Probable XI: Quinton de Kock (wk), KL Rahul (c), Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Ayush Badoni, Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan.
