Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be locking horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 67th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Faf du Plessis-led side suffered a demoralizing loss in their previous game against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and it has taken a big toll on their net run rate as well.

With seven wins in 13 games, a victory might just not be enough for the RCB to reach the playoffs and their fate still doesn’t lie in their hands with other results affecting scenarios. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans have been the team to beat so far in the tournament and have qualified for the playoffs already with 10 wins in 13 games.

However, with the playoffs approaching, the Hardik Pandya-led side would be looking to keep the winning momentum going as well. The form of Wriddhiman Saha has been a great boost to the side after his scintillating knock in the previous game. In the reverse fixture, GT registered a close win over RCB

Wanindu Hasaranga has been consistently taking wickets in the middle over in IPL 2022. And he could again come into play in tomorrow’s game, especially in the backdrop of GT’s middle order. Josh Hazlewood versus Wriddhiman Saha will be another interesting matchup. The ‘keeper-batter would hope to disrupt Hazlewood’s unremitting discipline with lofts and across-the-line shots.

Probable XI: Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis (c), Rajat Patidar, Mahipal Lomror, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Shahbaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, Mohammed Siraj, Josh Hazlewood.

On the other hand, GT’s seamers have been excellent with the new ball. Mohammed Shami alone has scalped 11 wickets in that period. Rashid has dislodged Karthik three times and given away only 30 runs off 28 balls. Shami versus Kohli would be another intriguing matchup, with the seamer having dismissed the RCB mainstay five times in IPL. A couple of those dismissals have come in the end overs, with Kohli looking to increase the momentum.

Probable XI: Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade, Hardik Pandya, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Sai Kishore, Alzarri Joseph, Yash Dayal, Mohammed Shami.

Fantasy XI Suggestion 1:

Wriddhiman Saha, David Miller, Faf du Plessis (C), Rajat Patidar, Shubman Gill, Glenn Maxwell, Rahul Tewatia, Hardik Pandya, Harshal Patel, Rashid Khan, Wanindu Hasaranga (VC).

Fantasy XI Suggestion 2:

Dinesh Karthik, Wriddhiman Saha, Virat Kohli, David Miller, Faf du Plessis, Shubman Gill (C), Glenn Maxwell, Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan (VC), Mohammad Siraj, Wanindu Hasaranga.
