The talented Proteas batter, Aiden Markram was expected to earn big numbers in IPL 2022 auction. Punjab Kings started bidding for him and Sunrisers Hyderabad join them in the race. Eventually, Makram was bagged by SRH for ₹2.60 Crores.

#9 Marco Jansen – ₹2.6 Crores

The lanky fast bowler, Marco Jansen went under the hammer in IPL 2022 mega-auction and his former franchise Mumbai Indians straightaway raise their hand for the bid. Rajasthan Royals join them in the race. Sunrisers Hyderabad joined the race pretty late in the race but managed to grab the services of the pacer for ₹4.20 Crore.
