The much-awaited auction for the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 got concluded on Friday (December 23) in Kochi. The event saw the likes of Sam Curran, Ben Stokes, Cameron Green, and Harry Brook receiving huge bids from the franchises. With a total of 87 available spots, the franchises managed to fill 80 of them, with 29 of them being overseas players.

In this auction as well, some prominent foreign players failed to find any bids in the auction. The reason could be the team’s combinations, remaining slots for each category, and the recent form of the players. Here is the best Unsold XI of overseas players after the IPL 2023 auction.

David has scored 1748 runs in 55 matches at an average of 38.84. He has scored 14 half-centuries and 1 century. His highest individual score has been 103 runs.

He made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Mumbai Indians in 2016, while Head played his last IPL match for RCB in 2017 against Delhi Capitals (then – Delhi Daredevils). The southpaw batter has scored 205 runs in 10 IPL matches. At the same time, he has scored 345 runs in 17 T20Is.
