Rajasthan Royals kept their hopes of playoffs in IPL 2023 alive as they beat Punjab Kings by four wickets on Friday, May 19 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. With their win, RR maintained their fifth position on the IPL 2023 points table, having 14 points with seven wins from 14 matches as well. However, RR’s fate is now in the hands of Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore as a loss for both teams in their last game will see a spot in the playoffs for RR as well.
However, after RR’s win against PBKS, captain Sanju Samson shared a photo with Yuzvendra Chahal and Jos Buttler where they could be seen having a chat while sitting on the outfield with some water bottles kept in front of them as well. Samson captioned the photo, “Yuziii, Josetta..korch neram irunnu nokam Chelapo Biriyani kittiyalo ?🧐😂🤣” referring to Salim Kumar’s hit dialogue from the Malayalam movie One Man Show as well which translates to “Let’s sit for sometime, maybe we might get Biryani,”
Meanwhile, The post got a hilarious comment from Buttler who wrote, “No Biryani… duck pancakes!”. He got a reply from Chahal who wrote, “head shot 😂”. Notably, Buttler has scored a record five ducks in IPL 2023 as well.

Sanju Samson said after their last game: I think at the end of the game, when Hety (Hetmyer) was going strong we thought we will finish by 18.5. We have a quality team and it is a little shocking to see where we stand on the table. I have been talking about Jasiwal almost every game. He has shown maturity. It feels he has played 100 T20Is. Almost 90 percent of the times we feel Boult will take a wicket in the first over. We were under pressure in the last few games.
