The 17th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley stadium in Delhi. Delhi Capitals is currently placed at the bottom of the points table of this season of IPL whereas Mumbai Indians are currently placed at seventh place on the points table.

DC has suffered losses in all the three matches they have played in this season of the IPL where they were unable to win even a single game so far while Mumbai Indians played two matches this season where they, too, lost both of their games. Delhi Capitals played their last game against Rajasthan Royals and they lost that game by 57 runs. David Warner managed to score 65 runs for Delhi Capitals in that game.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians played their last game against Chennai Super Kings where the latter registered a comfortable 7-wicket win. Ishan Kishan managed to score 32 runs for Mumbai Indians in that game. These two teams have played 32 matches against each other in the history of IPL so far where both DC managed to win 15 matches while MI won the remaining 17 games. An exciting game is expected here between these two sides on Tuesday.

Delhi Capitals (DC)

Delhi Capitals have made changes in their starting lineup quite regularly so far, but have failed to win games. They suffered another crushing defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals in the last match. Apart from David Warner, none of their batters have managed to do well. The likes of Prithvi Shaw, Rilee Rossouw, and others need to step up as they meet another depleted side in Mumbai. DC may make changes again on Tuesday as someone like Sarfaraz Khan may be integrated again into the squad.

Mumbai Indians are also in a similar territory. They have never been known for starting with wins, and it has continued this season as well. Rohit Sharma and his troops have been ordinary with both bat and ball and need a resurrection against Delhi. Suryakumar Yadav’s dismal form with the bat has been a massive below, and it is to be seen whether they take a decision on their bowling unit. Piyush Chawla’s selection never looked promising, and it proved to be a poor one as the veteran seemed way off the pace.
