The 20th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, April 15. After starting their season on a high, the hosts of the game succumbed to two losses. While their batting unit has stepped up more often than not, RCB will bank on an improved performance from their bowling attack with the return of Wanindu Hasaranga.
On the other hand, the Delhi Capitals are still searching for their maiden win of the season as they lost four matches in this edition so far despite David Warner and Axar Patel’s exploits with the bat. While they have had their personnel concerns, the Capitals have a decent roster and will fancy bagging their first win of the season.

These two teams have met each other in a total of 28 games so far, where Royal Challengers Bangalore won 18 while Delhi Capitals managed to take away 10 matches. With both teams eager to get their campaign back on track, a thrilling contest beckons in Bangalore.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
There are no injury concerns reported from the RCB camp since their loss against LSG but Wanindu Hasaranga will be expected to be available for the game as he was earlier expected to join the squad by April 10. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis continued with their good form both slamming their second-half centuries of the season while Glenn Maxwell bounced back to form.
Among bowlers, Mohammad Siraj finally brought his A game against LSG, even Wayne Parnell made the most of his inclusion with three wickets but leaked runs in the death overs. David Willey went wicketless in the last game but is likely to keep his place. Spin duty is large with Karn Sharma, who has taken five wickets in three games, as his spin partner Shahbaz Ahmed has been ineffective.
Probable XI: Faf du Plessis (C), Dinesh Karthik (WK), Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, Mahipal Lomror, Shahbaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, Wayne Parnell, David Willey, Karn Sharma, Mohammad Siraj
Impact players: W Hasaranga, Michael Bracewell, Anuj Rawat, Akash Deep, Suyash Prabhudessai
Delhi Capitals (DC)
Mitchell Marsh has rejoined the squad but he is highly unlikely to play in Saturday’s game. Khaleel Ahmed is doubtful as well with a hamstring injury. David Warner might have been criticized for his strike rate off late but he has been scoring consistently. Prithvi Shaw has been a huge disappointment in IPL 2023 with 36 runs in four innings. Rossouw’s consistency has been a concern but has played some good knocks this season.
Lalit Yadav could only score two in the last game after 38 in the innings before. Among bowlers, Mukesh Kumar has taken four wickets in the last two games but wicket-takers like Kuldeep Yadav and Anrich Nortje are yet to fire. Axar too is struggling to be among wickets. Mustafizur Rahman was going well in the last game until he leaked runs in the death overs, another concern for the bogey side of the season.
Probable XI: David Warner (C), Abhishek Porel (WK), Manish Pandey, Yash Dhull, Rilee Rossouw, Prithvi Shaw, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Mukesh Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Chetan Sakariya
Impact players: Phil Salt, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Lungi Ngidi, Ishant Sharma, Rovman Powell
