The 26th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday, April 19. The Rajasthan Royals are the team to beat in the ongoing season of the IPL this season, winning four out of their five matches so far. The likes of Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal have been performing their roles to the T, helping the Royals to the top of the points table.

The Lucknow Super Giants have been impressive as well in the season so far, as they have pulled off three wins in five matches. While KL Rahul is making a significant effort for his team, the Super Giants’ bowling attack has been in top form in IPL 2023. Although both teams look evenly matched on paper, the Royals may hold the edge owing to home conditions.

Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson are the men in form for the hosts and as they have got apt support from the likes of  Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shimron Hetmyer. Devdutt Padikkal is getting decent runs as well recently after a poor start to the season. Among bowlers, Yuzvendra Chahal is donning the Purple Cap while Ravichandran Ashwin and Trent Boult are picking wickets too with 6 dismissals each. Sandeep Sharma is bowling well too and has been key in the death overs in the last couple of games.

Among bowlers, Mark Wood and Ravi Bishnoi are the strike bowlers with 11 and 8 wickets respectively. Yudhvir Singh made a stunning debut with a couple of wickets in his first two overs and is a new-ball bowling find for the side. Ayush Badoni is in good form but bats too low in the order to score some crucial runs.
