The 34th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. SRH is currently placed at the 9th place on the points table of this season of IPL whereas Delhi Capitals is currently placed at the bottom of the points table.

Sunrisers Hyderabad played six games in this season of the IPL where they managed to win a couple of games while Delhi Capitals also played six matches this season where they managed to win a single game. SRH played their last game against CSK where Chennai beat them by 3 wickets. Abhishek Sharma managed to score 34 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad in that game.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals played their last game against Kolkata Knight Riders and they won the game by 4 wickets. David Warner smashed 57 runs for Delhi Capitals in that game. These two teams have played 21 matches against each other in the history of IPL so far where Sunrisers Hyderabad won 11 matches while Delhi Capitals managed to win 10 games.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Mayank Agarwal’s batting position has been a concern for SRH. Naturally an opener, he found himself as low as number six in SRH’s game against CSK. If the Sunrisers’ team management is to be believed, the latest opening pair of Harry Brook and Abhishek Sharma will get an extended run. SRH may go in with the same bowling attack that was played last game with a decision to be made between T Natarajan and Mayank Dagar for the impact sub according to the nature of the pitch.

Phil Salt finally got a look-in last game, and he is an obvious choice to partner with Warner if the think-tank has run out of patience with Shaw. In such a scenario, a middle-order spot opens up and that could bring Sarfaraz Khan back in the reckoning.
