In the 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Gujarat Titans (GT) will be facing Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. GT is currently placed at the fourth position on the points table in the ongoing edition of the IPL whereas MI is currently placed at the seventh spot on the points table.

Gujarat Titans played six matches in this season of the IPL where they won four games while Mumbai Indians also played six games in this season where they managed to win three matches. Gujarat Titans played their last match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and they won that game by 7 runs. Hardik Pandya hammered 66 runs for Gujarat Titans in that game.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians played their last match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and they lost that game by 13 runs. Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav smashed 67 runs and 57 runs respectively for Mumbai Indians in that game. These two teams have played one match against each other in the history of IPL so far where Mumbai Indians won that game against Gujarat Titans.

Gujarat Titans (GT)

Back on a better pitch for the batters, GT is likely to bring back Alzarri Joseph in place of Noor Ahmad, who managed to make a mark on his full-time debut for the franchise in the last game. Rashid Khan has a favorable match-up against Rohit Sharma (21 balls, 23 runs, 3 dismissals) and is expected to bowl up top.

Piyush Chawla, who impressed in the last game too, has gotten David Miller out twice. More importantly, Miller scores his runs against Chawla at a strike-rate of only 89, so expect the legspinner to have a go at the left-hander once again.
