The 51st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Kings (LSG) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. GT is currently placed at the numero uno position on the points table of this season of IPL whereas LSG is standing at the third place on the points table. GT played 10 games in this season of the IPL where they managed to win seven games while LSG also played 10 games in this season where they won five games.

Lucknow Super Giants played their last match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the game didn’t see a result. LSG was well on the verge of losing the game. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans played their last game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) where they pulled off a comfortable 9-wicket win. Hardik Pandya smashed 39 runs for Gujarat Titans in that match.

These two teams have played have played 3 matches against each other in the history of IPL so far where Gujarat Titans managed to win all the games while LSG has never managed to win a single game. Another exciting contest is anticipated here.

Gujarat Titans’ thumping of Rajasthan Royals has taken them to the top of the IPL table with a four-point cushion. And they would be keen to maintain that. Their bowling was excellent in the last game, and then captain Hardik Pandya went into fiery mode with the bat. GT would be keen to go with the same team, hence don’t expect any changes unless any forced injury happens.

Probable XI: Wriddhiman Saha (wk), Abhinav Manohar, Hardik Pandya (c), Vijay Shankar, David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, Mohammed Shami, Mohit Sharma, Joshua Little

LSG has been inconsistent this season. They require a win to bolster their bid for a playoff spot. Krunal Pandya will be leading the LSG side as KL Rahul was ruled out of the tournament. LSG may opt for the same team from the last match, which had four changes from their RCB loss a few days ago. Quinton de Kock is yet to play a game this season, and we may see Protea getting a chance to replace Kyle Mayers, but that also seems unlikely.

Probable XI: Quinton de Kock, Manan Vohra, Karan Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, Nicholas Pooran, Krunal Pandya (C), K Gowtham, Naveen-ul-Haq, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohsin Khan
