The 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. RR is currently placed at the fourth position on the points table of IPL 2023 whereas SRH is currently placed at the 9th place on the points table. The Royals played ten games in this season so far where they have managed to win five games while the Sunrisers played nine games in this season where they managed to win just three matches.
Rajasthan Royals played their last match against Gujarat Titans where GT registered a dominating 9-wicket win. Sanju Samson managed to score 30 runs for Rajasthan Royals in that game. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad played their last game against Kolkata Knight Riders where they lost that game by 5 runs.

Trent Boult has constantly taken wickets in the powerplay overs but even Sandeep Sharma will be vital against SRH as he matches up well against their opener Mayank Agarwal. Mayank was also dismissed by Yuzvendra Chahal six times. RR desperately turned to Riyan Parag in the previous games as the impact substitute as their batting innings fell apart after Sanju Samson decided to set a target. They will have to rethink the strategy even if they end up in a similar situation again as Riyan Parag has struggled all season to score runs.

Bhuvneshwar has conceded 45 runs at a run-a-ball to the England batter in the IPL without getting him out. In all T20s, he conceded just 88 off 82 and dismissed him five times. Either Rahul Tripathi or T Natarajan is likely to be the impact substitute based on what happens at the toss.
