We often see several types of dismissals on the field and run-out is one of them. However, players do get run out on no-ball too. And, the same thing happened with Delhi Capitals captain David Warner in IPL 2023. Warner, who got out on no ball, is continuously struggling in IPL 2023. They have two wins in the first 8 matches. In their 9th match, they are facing Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Delhi captain David Warner won the toss and decided to bat first.

However, David Warner’s luck didn’t help him as he was run out on a no-ball. Priyam Garg played the second ball of the second over down the leg side and he ran for a single. David Warner also came out from the non-striker’s end. But after going a little further, Priyam stopped and returned to his crease. But Warner could not return. Rashid Khan then picked up the ball and ran away to the non-striker’s end and did the job. Notably, Hardik Pandya overstepped on this ball. Alongside giving Warner out, the umpire also signalled it a no-ball as well.

Ahead of the game, Kuldeep Yadav said: “(On him performing well for DC) Tactically, I have made some changes and also I have changed my mindset a bit according to the format I am playing. I am focusing more on bowling on the good length areas. When I am playing for India, the aim is the same only and I have been playing for DC since 2 years, so the aim has been the same. (On their season so far and his individual performance) This season hasn’t started well for us, we lost the first five games and then won the next two. In the previous game we tried to make a comeback, but we lagged in the bowling department. We will have to believe in ourselves and in our abilities. I want to pick up a lot of wickets but sometimes it doesn’t happen even though if you are bowling well. I have bowled well and hopefully, will bowl well today as well. (On the challenge against Gujarat Titans) We will focus on bowling more. Of course, they are batting well and they have confidence but we have to have believe in ourselves.”
