IPL 2023 has been going on in full swing where 33 games have already occurred. Chennai Super Kings are placed at the top of the points table with 10 points whereas Delhi Capitals are at the below table with 1 win in their name as well.

IPL 2023: Let’s have a look at all the hits and misses of week 4

Match 24: Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore – Chennai Super Kings won by 8 runs

Hits: Devon Conway’s stunning 83, Shivam Dube’s quickfire fifty. Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell’s scintillating knocks for RCB.

Misses: RCB bowlers’ poor show with the ball. Their middle order couldn’t step up with the ball. Tushar Deshpande and Maheesh Theekshana were expensive with the ball.

Match 25: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians – Mumbai Indians won by 14 runs

Hits: Cameron Green’s quickfire fifty, and Tilak Varma’s finishing skill for MI. Heinrich Klaasen did well with the bat for SRH.

Misses: Poor bowling show from both teams.

Match 26: Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants – Lucknow Super Giants won by 10 runs

Hits: Kyle Mayers’ steady knock whereas Avesh Khan and Marcus Stoinis stepped up with the ball for LSG.  Trent Boult and R Ashwin did well with the ball whereas openers – Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler maintained their sublime form for RR.

Misses: Middle-order failed to step up with the bat for both teams.

Match 27: Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore – Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 24 runs

Hits: Virat Koli-Faf du Plessis’ stunning show with the bat. Mohammed Siraj’s spell (4 off 21). Prabhsimran Singh and Jitesh Sharma’s performance with the bat.

Misses: RCB and PBKS’ middle-order woes continued.

Match 28: Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders – Delhi Capitals won by 4 wickets

Hits: Jason Roy’s form. David Warner’s fifty.

Misses: Most of the players from both teams failed to contribute.

Match 29: Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Chennai Super Kings won by 7 wickets

Hits: Ravindra Jadeja did well with the ball. Devon Conway scored a blistering fifty. Mayank Markande did well with the ball.

Misses: SRH players failed to step up.

Match 30: Lucknow Super Giants vs Gujarat Titans – Gujarat Titans won by 7 runs

Hits: Hardik Pandya led the team from the front with a fifty. KL Rahul maintained his good form. Krunal Pandya, Mohit Sharma and Noor Ahmed did well with the ball.

Misses: Most of the batters failed to step up from both ends.

Match 31: Mumbai Indians vs Punjab Kings – Punjab Kings won by 13 runs

Hits: Harpreet Singh-Sam Curran stepped up with the bat. Cameron Green-Suryakumar Yadav played blistering knocks. Piyush Chawla and Arshdeep Singh showed their skills with the ball.

Misses: Bowlers failed to do well.

Match 32:  Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rajasthan Royals – Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 7 runs

Hits: Faf du Plessis-Glenn Maxwell kept the fans entertained with their masterclass. Yashasvi Jaiswal maintained his sublime form whereas Devdutt Padikkal scored a fifty for RR.

Misses: RCB’s middle-order woes continued alongside the poor bowling show. Rajasthan Royals’ bowlers failed to step up.

Match 33: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Chennai Super Kings – Chennai Super Kings won by 49 runs

Hits: Devon Conway smashed yet another fifty alongside Shivam Dube. Ajinkya Rahane showed his class for CSK. Jason Roy-Rinku Singh managed to steal the show with the bat.

Misses: Bowlers failed to step up from both ends.
