IPL 2024 has been going on in full swing as the second week has finished with some memorable performances. While Mumbai Indians are still struggling to register their first win, Kolkata Knight Riders are doing pretty well. The rest of the teams are also trying their best to win games as well.

Here is how all teams performed in the second week of IPL 2024:
Match 6: Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru – Royal Challengers Bengaluru won by 4 wickets
Hits: The match at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru was a high-scoring one. Apart from Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli, no other batters could manage to step up for PBKS and RCB respectively as well.
Misses: Middles orders from both sides failed to contribute as well. Alzarri Joseph, Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel’s form could be a concern for their respective sides as well.
Match 7: Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans – Chennai Super Kings won by 63 runs
Hits: CSK openers, Shivam Dube starred with the bat at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Sai Sudharsan also played well.
Misses: Bowlers, middle-orders need to step up.
Match 8: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians – Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 31 runs
Hits: Sunrisers Hyderabad batters stole the show with the highest IPL score of 277 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Tilak Varma and Tim David did well.
Misses: Bowlers failed to do well.

Match 9: Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals – Rajasthan Royals won by 12 runs
Hits: The high-scoring game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur saw a stunning effort from Riyan Parag who smashed a quickfire 84. Meanwhile, David Warner and Tristan Stubbs shone with the bat as well. Khaleel Ahmed bowled well so as Yuzvendra Chahal.
Misses: Batters need to be consistent so that the bowlers.
Match 10: Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Kolkata Knight Riders – Kolkata Knight Riders won by 7 wickets
Hits: The arch-rivals RCB and KKR gave fans an amazing evening to witness the game at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. While Virat Kohli batted at his absolute best, KKR batters didn’t take much time to seal the deal.
Misses: Mitchell Starc’s poor form is a huge concern for KKR alongside Sunil Narine. On the other hand, RCB’s middle order needs to step up as well as their bowlers, who are yet to shine well in the tournament.
Match 11: Lucknow Super Giants vs Punjab Kings – Lucknow Super Giants won by 21 runs
Hits: The high-scoring game at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow saw quickfire knocks from Quinton de Kock, Nicholas Pooran and Krunal Pandya as they posted a massive score. For Punjab, Shikhar Dhawan and Jonny Bairstow also stepped up with the bat. While Sam Curran scalped 3 wickets, it was the newcomer Mayank Yadav who stole the show with his sheer pace and brilliance.
Misses: Most of the batters and key bowlers failed to step up.

Match 12: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Titans – Gujarat Titans won by 7 wickets
Hits: Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad witnessed a thrilling match between Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Gujarat Titans on Sunday afternoon where GT bowlers did exceptionally well, especially Mohit Sharma whose spell turned the table. However, SRH’s middle order shone with the bat too alongside GT’s middle order who helped the side win.
Misses: SRH Openers need to step up whereas Shubman Gill needs to be back in his sublime form to provide a flying start to his team.
Match 13: Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings – Delhi Capitals won by 20 runs
Hits: The 13th match between DC and CSK at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam was a thrilling one. While Prithvi Shaw, David Warner, and Rishabh Pant stepped up with the bat, it was vintage MS Dhoni who stole the show with a swashbuckling knock. Matheesha Pathirana and Mukhesh Kumar both picked up 3 scalps each.
Misses: While DC’s middle order couldn’t shine, CSK openers failed to step up as well. Pacers struggled in the CSK camp whereas Anrich Nortje’s form is a concern for DC going forward.
