Swashbuckling India batter Virat Kohli has said that he will never leave Royal Challengers Bangalore, his Indian Premier League franchise and hopes to experience his dream of being part of RCB’s maiden title campaign. Kohli’s words increased the excitement amongst the crowd at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, attending the RCB Unbox event on 19 March, Tuesday as well.

While praising the loyalty of the RCB fans throughout for 16-long-year trophy drought, the veteran also expressed his hopes of being able to replicate the success of RCB Women in their recent WPL 2024 triumph, by bagging their maiden IPL title as well. He also claimed that he will never be leaving the RCB franchise as well.

“Hopefully we can double it up with the trophies, that will be something truly special,” Kohli said in the RCB Unbox event. “As everyone knows, I’m always gonna be here, try to be part of the group that wins it (IPL) for the first time…I will try my absolute best for the fans, for the franchise…its kind of a dream of mine as well over so many years, to know what it feels like to win the IPL.”

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli applauded the women’s team at the event as they clinched the Women’s Premier League trophy by beating Delhi Capitals on March 17, Sunday by 8 wickets. Kohli was on call after they won the match and congratulated them via a video call at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi

“When they won we were all watching it…it felt like the city won if you look at the turnout of the fans,” Virat Kohli said. “30,000 people for the finals and packed stadium when they played here (Chinnaswamy), these are special things which you create over a long period of time and not one or two years. 16 years of loyalty and passion from the fans…that is unwavering,” Virat Kohli concluded.
