India is on the Europe tour and they will be facing Ireland for a 2-match T20I series, which will be played on the June 26 and June 28 respectively at Castle Avenue in Dublin. While the main team of India is in the UK for the one-off fifth Test match, a different set of players will be representing India in this series.
Hardik Pandya has been appointed as the captain of the team, while Dinesh Karthik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Yuzvendra Chahal are among the experienced ones in the squad. Andrew Balbirnie will be leading the Irish troops in this series. These two teams have faced each other thrice in this format so far, where India won on all three occasions.

This will be the best opportunity for Ireland to settle scores in the absence of senior players on the Indian side. A great series is anticipated here between these two sides. Ahead of this series, India locked horns with South Africa at home in a 5-match series and it ended in both teams winning a couple of games as the last T20I was washed out due to rain.

Suryakumar Yadav will be walking in to the XI. The visitors could also be tempted to give an opportunity to the uncapped speedster Umran Malik or left-arm pace bowler Arshdeep Singh. They can played in place of Avesh Khan or Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
