Following his controversial tweet in correspondence to former India and Rising Pune Supergiant captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, brother of the owner of the team, Harsh Goenka, has yet again attracted eye balls on his Twitter handle.

After the Pune Supergiant completed its innings in today’s match, Harsh Goenka tweeted a photo which comprised of strike rates of all the Pune batsmen in this season. Comparing the players, that too only after two matches is not the wisest of ideas. A list which contained names of six batsmen had Dhoni at No. 6, after five other batsmen. The tweet went viral within minutes and received all sorts of reactions from people.

Well, there can be two ways of how you see this situation. A traditionalist MS Dhoni fan would be tempted to see it as a situation where the business tycoon is shaping against Dhoni, who became the first Indian player to feature in 250 T20 games today. All the reactions on the tweet have mostly come from such people who have started to take on Goenka in their own respective way.

The other situation can be where Goenka is tweetingwhat he is watching. Steven Smith, without a doubt, played better than Dhoni in the first game. So may be that tweet was more as a praise for Smith than as a comparison with Dhoni. On similar grounds, may be he was genuinely comparing the strike rates of Supergiant’s batsmen, without hinting anything specific for Dhoni.
