Former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin applauded 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi for his stunning show in domestic cricket ahead of IPL 2026. However, the young left-hander announced himself to the cricketing world with his swashbuckling 38-ball 101 for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in his maiden IPL season last year as well.

Praising him, Ravichandran Ashwin wrote on his X handle, “171(95), 50(26), 190(84), 68(24), 108*(61), 46(25) & 127(74) today. These are just some of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s scores in the last 30 days across domestic & U19 cricket. Enna thambi, indha adi podhuma, illa innum konjam venuma? Translation (What’s all this brother? Ravichandran Ashwin also believes all eyes will be on the young Vaibhav Suryavanshi over the next four months, with the upcoming Under-19 World Cup and 2026 IPL season as well.
