The India vs Pakistan Asian Games 2026 final produced another heated moment when Ishan Kishan was involved in an exchange with members of the Pakistan team after his dismissal at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on Saturday, October 3. The incident occurred during the 14th over of India’s innings, shortly after Abhishek Sharma had played a blistering knock to put India on the front foot.

Kishan, who came into the middle following India’s early wickets, was looking to maintain the scoring momentum against Pakistan’s bowling attack.

However, Pakistan spinner Arafat Minhas ended his stay at the crease with a well-executed delivery. Minhas bowled slightly shorter and got the ball to turn sharply. Kishan attempted to pull the delivery but failed to make contact, with the ball beating him and crashing into the stumps.

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter departed for 20 off 18 balls, including three boundaries. His dismissal gave Pakistan another important breakthrough as India looked to build a strong total in the gold medal clash.

The wicket also led to a tense exchange as Kishan walked back towards the Indian dugout. Words were exchanged between the left-hander and members of the Pakistan team, adding another layer of drama to an already intense India-Pakistan contest.

Kishan’s dismissal followed a series of early talking points in the final. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was dismissed for 15 by Saim Ayub, who celebrated with a baby cradle gesture, while Sanju Samson fell for just 2. Abhishek then counterattacked with 61 off 28 balls before Arafat Minhas eventually dismissed him.

With both sides competing for the Asian Games gold medal, the competitive atmosphere remained high throughout the Indian innings.
