Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain KL Rahul scored a brilliant century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 against Mumbai Indians. On Saturday, he played an unbeaten knock of 103 runs off 60 balls. With the help of his innings, Lucknow managed to reach the score of 199 in 20 overs. Rahul kept on hitting big shots around the ground at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Mumbai needed a very good start for chasing down the target of 200 runs but it could not happen. MI skipper, Rohit Sharma was once again dismissed early. Rohit went on after scoring just 6 runs. He hit a four in his innings. After the skipper’s early dismissal, a big innings was expected from young Ishan Kishan.

However, the young southpaw batsman’s innings did not go much further, and scoring just 13 runs in 17 balls, he was dismissed by Marcus Stoinis. It was the seventh over of Mumbai’s innings. The ball was slightly outside off-stump and this Kishan tried to steal a run. But the ball took the edge of his bat and hit the wickets.

Ishan Kishan was very disappointed after getting out. Going out of the field, he hit the bat on the boundary cushions. The names of the sponsors are written on these cushions. This can be considered a violation of IPL rules. And in such a situation, action can also be taken against the player.
