Indian pacer Ishant Sharma and his wife Pratima Singh have welcomed a baby girl, marking a new chapter in their lives. The couple announced the birth of their child on Instagram on Friday, November 03, 2023, sharing a photo of their newborn daughter’s tiny hand wrapped around their fingers.
“A new baby girl, a world of wonder, hope, and dreams all wrapped in pink. 💕👶❤️🧿 We’re overjoyed to introduce the newest member of our family,” wrote the couple in their caption.

Sharma has been away from professional cricket for some time now, having last played a Test match against New Zealand in a home series in Kanpur in November 2021. The veteran pacer is one of the most experienced bowlers in the Indian cricket team, with over 300 wickets in the red-ball format. He is also the third-highest wicket-taker for India in Test cricket, behind only Kapil Dev and Anil Kumble.
