Talented Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has shared his recovery update after experiencing a life-threatening car accident late last year as well. He also added that it has given him a new perspective and he has found happiness in small things. Despite his recovery process, he is likely to miss most of the action this year, having torn three key ligaments in his knee. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly, now involved in the management role with the Delhi Capitals, said that he might take a couple of years to return.
Speaking to IANS, Rishabh Pant stated that people often forget the small things in life amid the hustle and bustle of daily activity. The 25-year-old cricketer also revealed that the accident has prompted him to enjoy his life to the fullest as well.

Something I value today is enjoying my life to the fullest and this includes the smallest of things that we ignore in our daily routine. Everyone today is hustling and working extremely hard to achieve something special, but we’ve forgotten to enjoy the little things which give us joy every single day.”
