The pandemic spread of the Covid-19 virus has brought the world down to a standstill. With no cricket going around and everyone in isolation for personal safety, many players and coaches are seen spending the free time on social media. Left-arm off-spinner Jack Leach is no different as the Englishman just like every other sports professional who are stranded at home spending time on twitter and other social media platforms.

The English spinner shared a twitter post with interesting advice to cricket fans all across the world. Jack was seen engaging with the twitter handle named Cow Corner Podcast were in the spinner shared an interesting take on the tweet of the formerly mentioned page.

Cow Corner Podcast tweeted,” Just think of it this way… We are Jack Leach and the NHS is Ben Stokes All we have to do is stay in and assist our partner so they can get us through the battle! Don’t be taking any risky singles though! Lyon might not be able to catch, but you could catch Corona!#StaySafe”

Jack Leach was quick to respond to the same and wrote, “Being boring is boring guys! But if it gets the job done it’s definitely worth it! We are all batting at 11 so let’s not get ahead of ourselves and start playing shots. Defend your stumps. One ball at a time and let Stokes do his thing #StayAtHome”

Jack Leach and Ben Stokes are a partnership drilled into the minds of English cricket fans for eternity as the duo were involved in a historic partnership in the test format. Jack Leach and Ben Stokes were the 2 players whose partnership helped England win one of the most memorable Ashes Test matches.

Things looked bleak for England as the Australan bowling with spitting fireballs and had dominated the last day of the play against England. Later on, Ben Stokes walked onto the pitch with a completely diffrent approch and changed the tide in England’s favor. His aggresive batting approched to the game worked as the Enlgish all-rounder smashed 135 and helped England win the 3rd match of the Ashes. Ben Sokes could not have done it with Jack Leach who stood like a solid wall, on the other hand, forging a formidable partnership of 76 runs for the last wicket. Jack Leach faced 17 balls and scored remained unbeaten scoring a single run in the partnership.

With the Corona Pandemic Outbreak, the whole of the cricketing fraternity has been on hold with no sporting activity what so ever. Currently, The ECB just like every other international cricket board has canceled all domestic tournaments for safety purposes and contain the spread of CoronaVirus.
