The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, and his men have had a terrific start in the ongoing five-match Test series in England. The first Test might have ended in a draw but the visitors were looking good to seal the game and they did it in the second Test match. They defeated England by 151 runs to take the 1-0 lead. KL Rahul was adjudged the Player of the Match for 129 in the first innings.

The third Test is currently taking place at Headingley in Leeds ad the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli won the toss for the first time in England (in Tests) and decided to bat first. England got off to a mesmerizing start in the form of James Anderson.

England’s veteran fast bowler was at his ferocious best and mounted pressure on Team India early on. The in-form Indian opener, KL Rahul fell prey to Anderson’s bowling in the very first over itself. When Cheteshwar Pujara came out to bat, he looked a bit shaky at the start. He got off the mark but failed to extend his stay at the crease for longer last long as he was once again dismissed by James Anderson.

Indian captain Virat Kohli walked out to bat alongside Rohit Sharma. The duo added 17 runs for the third wicket before things turned from bad to worse for the visitors.

James Anderson who got rid of Virat Kohli for a duck in the first innings of the first Test once again bowled a gem of a delivery to dismiss Kohli in the third Test. During the fifth ball of the 11th over, Kohli tried to play a cover drive but took a thick outside edge through to a wicketkeeper. The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli departed after scoring 7 runs.
