James Anderson has been the key player for England over the years with his swing bowling and he is approaching the final stages of a marvellous career. With 664 wickets in 174 Tests, the 40-year-old is currently the leading wicket-taker in international cricket among the fast bowlers and recently became the first bowler to reach a unique hallmark of 950 international wickets as well.
However, despite his stunning records, Anderson has been an active figure on social media and recently, he revealed the words he had muted on Twitter. Among the list, the most interesting ones included Pant, McGrath, Clouderson, Worse than Steyn, sweep as well. James Anderson recently went past the record of Glenn Mcgrath for the most international wickets and is on the verge of becoming the first-ever pace bowler to pick up 700 Test wickets as well. While McGrath reaped a lot of success with his seam position and lengths, Anderson is more of a swing bowler as well.

However, James Anderson has been referred to as Clouderson at times because of the way he becomes more effective in cloudy conditions. With the ball moving around as well, and Anderson is a nightmare for the oopponents especially in England.

As far as Rishabh Pant is concerned, the left-hander wasn’t afraid to play a reverse sweep in a Test match last year on the bowling of James Anderson which went viral on social media as well. The shot was one of the talking points in the series and Pant tried it again in the recently rescheduled fifth and final Test as well. Anderson revealed “reverse,” “sweep,” and “reverse-sweep” in his long muted list and it clearly relates to Pant’s shot as well. James Anderson finally concluded that ‘Worse than Steyn’ in his muted list as he has often been raised comparisons with the former South African speedster. Dale Steyn picked up 439 wickets in 93 Tests at an average of 22.95 as well.
